In my many years of legal practice as a lawyer in Alpharetta and throughout the state of Georgia, I have successfully achieved these goals through experience, preparation, perseverance, communication and personal legal service.

I practice in many legal areas. As a lawyer, I have represented crime victims who have experienced serious injuries resulting from inadequate security. I have been a lawyer for cases in wrongful death, family law, criminal defense, business transactions and civil litigation.

Legal Experience

I was admitted to the Georgia State Bar Association in 1969 and have practiced law in Georgia since. I also served as the following:

• Juvenile Parole and Probation Officer in the Stone Mountain District, 1966-1967
• Law Clerk to Honorable Jeptha Tanskley, Judge Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, 1968-1969
• Adjunct Faculty Member, Georgia State University, 1969-1979
• Speechwriter for the Honorable Herman Talmadge, United States Senator, Georgia

I have appeared in 67 Georgia counties and 27 states. I have been admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
